Anne and Martin Wood welcome you to our attractive stone built cottage set in the Lincolnshire countryside but within easy reach of a variety of interesting places to visit.

There is the historic city of Lincoln with its spectacular cathedral, fascinating cobbled Bailgate shopping area, the university set by the Brayford Pool and the busy marina. The market towns of Grantham, Sleaford and Newark are all in easy reach and we are in the centre of several aviation historical sites.

Leisure pursuits such as golf, fishing, go-carting, walking are all available locally,

Byards Leap Cottage is on the Viking Way long distance footpath which runs from the Humber to Oakham and is delightful walking, through heathland, wild flower pastures and rolling countryside which is home to many birds including skylarks, pheasants and partridge. You may also be fortunate and observe buzzards or red Kites. We provide a comfortable overnight stay for walkers and serve evening meals if booked ahead. We are also recognised “Cyclists Welcome” hosts.
